Men's Ministry Elder Tom Alston, Assistant Pastor MY FATHER’S HOUSE CHRISTIAN CHURCH OFFICE OF ASSISTANT PASTOR MISSION STATEMENT: As the Assistant Pastor I am a member of the ministry team that labors to build Christ’s church. I have and will continue to take the gifts and abilities God has given me and use them for his glory. Never forgetting that we need one another; to function as God intended. THE ROLE OF ASSISTANT PASTOR: My role as the Assistant Pastor is supporting the Senior Pastor in his role; the role of accomplishing God’s command to make Disciples. And all other specific functions designed to bring about the unity and maturity of the body of Christ. MINISTRIES OF THE ASSISTANT PASTOR: •Preach and teach as assigned by the Senior Pastor. •The Men’s Fellowship (Last Saturday of the Month). •The Cape Fear Adult Daycare Ministry (Every First Thursday of the Month at 1 PM). •The Thursday Noonday Prayer. •The Senior Class Sunday school Teacher. |
