Jesus has prepared a place for us; a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. To get an understanding of the vision for My Father's House Christian Church we must first understand the role of Jesus in the Father's House. This man, Jesus, was counted worthy of more glory than Moses. He is: 1. The Word - Jesus is the blueprint and the floor plan - John 1:1-3
2. The Carpenter - Jesus is the builder and maker - Hebrews 11:10
3. The Chief Cornerstone - Jesus laid that first stone by laying down his life. Ephesians 2:20
4. The Capstone - Jesus is the (last) finishing stone that is laid - Revelation 1:17
5. The Door - Jesus provides that only access into God's house - John 10:9
6. Lord - He gives us the keys to God's house - Matthew 16:19 Many Mansions To get an understanding of the many mansions in my Father's house, we must know who we are as believers are in Christ - We are: 1. Lively stones (1 Peter 2:5) 2. A Spiritual house (1Peter 2:5) 3. A habitation of God (Ephesians 2:22) ''We, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.'' |
